Payment Methods

Checkout at MPR Clothing Co. runs through PayPal, with all prices in USD. Below: accepted methods, refused methods, the moment you are charged, and the line your statement will show.

Accepted Payment Methods

All payments pass through PayPal. At checkout you can use:

  • A PayPal account: your PayPal balance or any funding source linked to the account.
  • A debit or credit card through PayPal: where PayPal offers card payment for your country and browser, you can enter a card on PayPal’s form without opening a PayPal account.
  • PayPal Pay Later: where PayPal displays a Pay Later option for your order, you can spread the cost under PayPal’s own terms. PayPal alone decides who is eligible.

The options inside the PayPal window depend on PayPal’s rules for your location, your account and the order amount, so they can differ from one shopper to the next.

Methods We Do Not Accept

  • Cash, including cash on delivery.
  • Personal or cashier’s checks.
  • Money orders.
  • Bank transfers and wire transfers.
  • Cryptocurrency of any kind.
  • Gift cards of any kind.

If someone asks you to pay MPR Clothing Co. by any of these methods, it is not us. Forward the request to [email protected].

Is My Payment Information Safe?

Card and account details are typed into PayPal’s system, not ours. Your full card number, the card’s security code and your PayPal password never pass through our hands, and we keep no copy of them. Our records get only the PayPal transaction reference, whether the payment succeeded, and the name and address tied to it. Every page of this site, checkout included, loads over HTTPS. PayPal also runs its own fraud screening on each transaction.

When Will I Be Charged?

You are charged when you place the order. Here is exactly what happens:

  1. You approve the payment in the PayPal window.
  2. PayPal confirms it, and our confirmation email reaches your inbox.
  3. The order enters the production queue.

Nothing is held back for a later charge. If you cancel inside the allowed window, the full amount returns to your original method; see our Cancellation Policy. With Pay Later, PayPal sets the installment schedule, not us.

Why Was My Payment Declined?

PayPal and your card issuer approve or decline payments; we have no control over that decision. Frequent causes:

  • The billing address does not match what your bank has on file.
  • Insufficient funds, or the card has reached its limit.
  • Your bank blocks online or cross-border purchases by default.
  • The card has expired, or a digit in the number, expiry date or security code was mistyped.
  • PayPal’s risk checks flagged the transaction.

What to try: re-enter the details, call the number on the back of your card and ask the bank to allow the charge, or pick a different funding source inside PayPal. We cannot see why a payment was refused, so your bank or PayPal is the right place to ask.

Currency, Sales Tax & Customs Duties

  • Currency: all prices and charges are in USD. When your card or PayPal balance is held in a different currency, the exchange is done by PayPal or your bank, which may add a fee.
  • U.S. sales tax: our checkout does not currently add U.S. sales tax. Should that change, a separate tax line will appear in the order summary before payment.
  • Import duties: international orders ship DDU. The recipient pays any duties, VAT and customs fees the destination country applies; our checkout never collects them.

Refunds to the Original Method

Every refund returns to the method used for the order: PayPal balance to PayPal balance, card to the same card. Refunds cannot be routed to another card or account. Once we issue it, the credit usually posts within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. PayPal applies refunds on Pay Later purchases to your Pay Later plan. When a refund is due, and when it is not, is set out in our Returns & Refunds policy.

Charge Statement Descriptor

Your bank or card statement lists the charge as PAYPAL *MPRCLOTHING. If you see that line and do not recognize the purchase, email us before opening a dispute. Send the date and amount of the charge and we will match it to an order.

Questions About Billing?

Write to [email protected] with your order number, or the date and amount of the charge. Never send a full card number by email. Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time; closed weekends and U.S. federal holidays. We reply within one business day.
