What You Get With an Ugly Sweater

These are printed holiday sweaters, not knitted ones. The pattern in the photo, including any knit-look texture, is part of the artwork, printed across the front, back and sleeves of a sweatshirt-style blank. The result is lighter than a wool knit and has no loose yarn to snag on jewelry or zippers.

Sizing

The Ugly Sweater table in our Size Guide lists chest as a full circumference, along with shoulder width and sleeve length. If a collared shirt will be worn underneath, compare the chest figure with a sweatshirt you already like first.

Print method

All-over designs are usually produced by dye-sublimation on polyester fabric, so the colors run right up to the seams. Thin pale lines can appear near seams or under the arms, where fabric folds during printing; this is a known trait of all-over printing.
