Hoodies and Crewnecks, Explained
Two blanks share this category. One is the pullover hoodie, with its hood and kangaroo pocket; the other is the crewneck sweatshirt, hoodless and finished with a round ribbed neckline. Both are fleece garments with ribbed cuffs and waistband, so they sit closer at the wrist and hip than a tee does.
Sizing
Fleece blanks are cut wider than tees. Compare against the Hoodie or Crewneck Sweatshirt table in our Size Guide, not the T-shirt table. Planning to layer something heavy beneath it? Order one size larger.
Print method
Designs are usually printed direct-to-garment on the front, back or sleeve, as the listing shows. Fleece has a brushed inside and a smoother outer face, and ink on fleece can look a shade softer than the same artwork on a tee.
Care
Wash it reversed, in cold water, alongside like colors. Use the dryer’s gentlest heat or a drying rack: a hot cycle can shrink cotton-blend fleece and fade the print.
